The Centrax from RUD is the superstar among snow chains.
With minimal preparation, the chain pulls itself onto the wheel.
The center mesh of the chain and the belt tension must be adapted to the dimensions of the tire before it is fitted for the first time.
A rim adapter also has to be initially fitted. This is best done when changing to winter tires.
Put the adapter matching the spanner size of the wheel bolt onto the wheel bolt and tighten with the socket wrench supplies. Preferably, tighten with a torc wrench or a 4 way wheel nut wrench in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations. The adapter can remain fitted throughout the winter.
The Centrax can be fitted in seconds whenever the road conditions make it necessary. Hold the snow chain by two spike elements and spread it out completely. Open the yellow safety flap in an upward direction. Now simply lay the snow chain over the tire tread. Press and hold the push button down with the fastening lever and the adapter and let it lock in place. Press the clamping lever down and close the safety flap. No other fitting steps are required. When the vehicle starts moving, the Centrax pulls itself onto the wheel. The chain is quickly fitted, and off you go.
